As a growing residential modular home builder in Nova Scotia, Citadel Homes Inc. prides itself in providing turnkey packages for its clients in HRM, Kings, Hants, and Annapolis Counties. We focus mostly on manufactured homes such as mini homes, modular homes, bungalow, cottages, custom home designs, multi-unit projects, and some smaller commercial projects.
Our turnkey packages include everything from custom home design to move-in ready homes including site preparation, well, septic, driveway, foundation etc.
We are hiring two (or more) full-time, well-rounded, dependable, skilled carpenters who take pride in their work, with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You should be able to perform various tasks such as, but not limited to: siding and roofing, installation of windows and doors, framing, drywall, some mudding, taping, painting, building steps and decks, skirting of mini homes, door adjustments, flooring install & repairs, along with various other aspects of the trade. You must be attentive to detail, follow safety regulations and be efficient in your work.
We offer a competitive hourly salary that can range anywhere from $25-$35 per hour, based on experience. Plus, other attractive incentives. The schedule is Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with 40-45 hours per week with an opportunity for overtime.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, as travel to job sites is required. A company vehicle may be provided.
- Applicant demonstrates effective communication skills between clients and staff, as well as the ability to follow direction. You must be able to respectfully communicate with our customers, as sometimes it will be required to enter a customer’s home.
- A successful applicant must be open to performing a variety of carpentry tasks with exceptional skills in flooring repairs.
- Applicant must be able to problem solve and be efficient in their work.
- Applicants must have a positive attitude, good work ethic, take pride in their work, and work well alone and as part of a team.
