ABOUT THE ROLE
IPECC Industrial is hiring contract Project Administrators to support transmission program project teams in Edmonton. This role provides administrative, financial, and system access support that enables effective project execution, cost control, and compliance. You will be embedded with an active capital delivery team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Project Managers and project teams
- Support onboarding and offboarding of project personnel, including system and hardware access coordination
- Process, track, and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and financial documentation
- Review and receive invoices against approved purchase orders; process holdback releases and lien checks
- Validate progress payment invoices against actual work completed
- Monitor purchase orders for sufficient funding; manage updates for approved changes
- Prepare and submit purchase order requests and monitor POs through close-out
- Provide Oracle system support including PO data review, fund balance verification, and vendor searches
- Process vendor registration forms and support vendor setup in Oracle
- Support budget tracking and cost control through accurate financial record maintenance
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes
- Provide SharePoint administrative support including access management and document coordination
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- 3 or more years of experience in project administration or financial administration in a construction or industrial environment
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a fast-paced project environment
