Overview
At CTS TRUCK EQUIPMENTS AND REPAIR SPECIALIST, we are a full-service commercial truck, trailer, and heavy equipment repair facility located in Brampton. We perform complete repairs, maintenance, and custom installations on all major makes and models of trucks—including Kenworth, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Volvo, International, Hino, and more—as well as all types of commercial trailers (Dry Vans, Reefers, Flatbeds, etc.).
From routine PM inspections to complex custom frame alterations and hydraulic systems, our shop does it all. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and are looking for a skilled, motivated technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the following equipment servicing & installations:
- Bibeau dump bodies, platform bodies, and tailgates
- Standard push axles and steering push axles
- 5th wheel assemblies and suspension systems
- Atlas Polar cranes
- Power Take-Offs (PTO) and tractor hydraulic systems
- Custom frame alterations, component fabrication, and body mounting
Welding & Fabrication: Perform custom welding, cutting, and metal fabrication for body installations, frame modifications, and structural repairs.
Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform oil changes, greasing, brake jobs, PM inspections, and basic air brake system maintenance across all truck and trailer makes.
Diagnostics: Help diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Safety & Recordkeeping: Complete all work efficiently and in accordance with safety and company standards, maintaining accurate records of services completed and parts used.
Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a commercial truck, trailer, or heavy equipment repair shop.
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician license (or registered apprentice) is an asset.
