Westben is seeking an exceptional Digital Outreach and Customer Service Assistant to work with us as we connect to communities digitally during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The successful candidate will work on creating and delivering digital audience engagement initiatives in connection with Westben’s artistic, educational, and fundraising programs through Westben’s website, social media and new digital venue. Reporting to Westben’s Business Manager, the successful candidate should be comfortable working remotely with a team, and have good communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines is required. Training and experience in Music, Community Outreach and Digital Content Creation, and understanding of Westben’s mission and culture are considered assets.
- Must be available to work starting October 5th 2020 for 8 weeks full-time (35 hours a week) OR 16 weeks part-time (17.5 hours per week)

Westben is a charitable, not-for-profit centre for connection and creativity through music located in Campbellford, Ontario. With a vision of being a leading, internationally recognized music centre, Westben nurtures communities of artists, audiences and learners through exceptional musical experiences. Programs feature professional, emerging and community artists and enthusiasts. Our summer season of Concerts at the Barn and year-round concerts and programs attracts 10,000 patrons from the Trent Hills area and beyond. Year-round activities revolve around our four choruses and three concert band ensembles which have a combined membership of over 80 community participants. We also serve learners of all ages from pre-schoolers to seniors. We continue to work closely with the Municipality of Trent Hills to develop cultural opportunities for the community at our shared home, the Clock Tower Cultural Centre. Focus is on building community vibrancy and joy through the participation and appreciation of music. In 2020, in reaction to COVID-19, Westben pivoted to all-digital performance and outreach programming.
