We are currently hiring General Labourers / Material Handlers to support daily operations involving the loading, delivery, and handling of construction materials.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, working in a team environment, and being on the move throughout the day.
- Location: Lower Sackville, NS
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary slightly based on operations)
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
- Pay Frequency: Weekly (Direct Deposit)
- Job Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity
- Load and unload construction materials such as drywall, lumber, and building supplies
- Assist drivers with deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
- Safely carry materials into customer locations (team lifting required)
- Verify and follow delivery orders to ensure accuracy
- Support general yard and warehouse operations between deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Experience in general labour, warehouse, material handling, or delivery support is an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis (team lifts up to 300 lbs)
- Strong physical stamina (lifting, bending, walking, carrying materials)
- Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking)
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots (minimum 6 inches) required
- Clean criminal background
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
