Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team at Bolton Cargo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations from Canada to Mid-West and Southern states in America. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of the cargo and providing excellent service to our clients.
Will pay top dollar for drivers with more than 10 years of verifiable driving experience and will pay for any Pickup/Deliveries.
Duties
- Operate commercial trucks and 53 foot dryvan to transport goods over various distances, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Requirements
- 2+ year calid commercial driver's license (A-Z) is required.
- Min age of 22 years and prior experience with border crossing
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.

Pay: $60,000.00-$103,592.32 per year
