Overview
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented and customer-focused Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and a passion for the automotive industry. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process. Your expertise will help guide clients through their options while promoting our services effectively.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates for customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and answer any questions.
- Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure all estimates are completed to insurance standards, and develop a repair plan
- Manage customer relationships by providing exceptional service and follow-up throughout the repair process.
- Upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and repair techniques to provide informed recommendations.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive repair environment is preferred, particularly in a collision center setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is essential to accurately assess vehicle damage.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, insurance and team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
