Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a City Driver (Owner/Operator), where your expertise in commercial driving will keep our logistics moving smoothly and efficiently. As an essential part of our transportation network, you will be responsible for safely transporting containers to/from CN and/or CP and ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to either CN or CP, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, identifying maintenance needs or safety issues and performing basic automotive repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and delivery schedules to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery statuses or any issues encountered during routes.
- Uphold safety standards at all times by following proper procedures for heavy equipment operation and cargo handling.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or related roles.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for heavy equipment operation.
- Basic automotive repair skills to perform routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery schedules.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.

Pay: $104,000.00-$156,000.00 per year
