RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
- Monitor departmental performance and implement changes to schedules, procedures, and policies to ensure operational efficiency
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff responsible for shipping, receiving, and the loading and unloading of goods; assign tasks and enforce adherence to safety and operational standards
- Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods; ensure ongoing compliance with health, safety, and transportation regulations
- Oversee the preparation and review of all shipping documentation; arrange for tracking and tracing of goods in transit
- Coordinate with customer service and production scheduling departments to plan shipments and align logistics operations with organizational requirements
- Manage transportation bookings and relationships with carriers; authorize shipments and monitor carrier performance
- Oversee monthly and year-end inventory counts; identify discrepancies and implement corrective procedures
- Prepare operational reports and performance statistics for senior management
