Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely meal delivery
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during shifts
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with meal planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Serve customers directly when required, ensuring excellent food service experience
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols
- Monitor portion control and presentation of dishes to uphold restaurant standards
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or similar environment
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen setting is preferred
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and quality assurance
- Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service excellence
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask effectively
