Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer Class B Gasfitter Certified or apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units.
- Fabricate ductwork and other components as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices.
- Experience in welding is a plus for fabricating components.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to installations and repairs.
- Ability to plumb systems accurately for optimal performance.
- Previous experience in HVAC installation or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Class B Gasfitter Certification or apprentice
