- Maintain property including weed control, litter control and keeps yard and grounds in an organized and professional manner.
- Serves as main contact for all the materials and small tools in the yard.
- Inspect all equipment and materials when returned to the yard; thoroughly check equipment to make sure it is in working condition and store materials in an orderly fashion.
- Manage resources in and out of the yard.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and provides performance and status reports.
- Implement efficient storage methods, yielding ready accessibility of materials, permitting efficient space utilization and flexibility of arrangement, minimizes material deterioration and allows ease of physical inventory.
- Maintain the accuracy of documentation and paperwork.
- Complete all duties as assigned to clean and maintain the general work area.
- Operating of the loader for side blender.
- Operate only equipment and machinery for which training has been received, in a safe and effective manner
- Report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the Supervisor, having secured the equipment
- Wear personal protective equipment as approved
- Provide exceptional and courteous customer service
- Any other duties that can be reasonably required
- Comply with and add to the improvement of all Company Health and Safety Policies
- Must have a strong sense of the need for safe and healthy work environment
Required Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3 to 5 years related experience
- A valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- Clean Background check
- Agricultural Experience would be considered an asset.
- Forklift certification and experience would be considered an asset.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to handle and lift medium to heavy bags/ loads (up to 40kgs) independently
- Ability and willingness to work in dusty, warm, cold environment
- Ability to foster a teamwork environment
- Bilingual (English/ French) would be an asset
