THE RECRUITMENT ADVISOR ROLE
We are currently looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join our highly collaborative team that is passionate about finding the best talent to join our organization. As part of this role, you will use your expertise to screen and assess candidates and ensure that all recruitment activities are conducted with the highest standards of professionalism. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to identify and attract top talent, while demonstrating a commitment to the organization's values and mission.
KEY OBJECTIVES

Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with Company Values to achieve long-term success

Under the guidance from the Recruitment Lead, provide recruitment, administrative, and clerical support to the team specifically in the trades in line with Altrad Company Values
MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE RECRUITMENT ADVISOR

Coordinate recruitment of high-volume trades requirements for the Project, with the support of a blue collar-recruitment team

Work directly with the Recruitment Lead on a daily basis to ensure the supply of personnel required to complete the Project within the required timeframe is met

Utilization of effective and strategic planning to source suitable candidates

Manage effective communication between all relevant recruitment stakeholders around Altrad recruitment activities

Source and attract candidates using Internal and external job requisitions, social media etc.

Respond to enquiries from candidates regarding Project recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies

Screen candidates CVs, trade tickets, and select preferred candidates. Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job’s pre-established selection criteria and Altrad recruitment policies

Liaise with Payroll to ensure all required documentation is received in a timely manner

Maintain personnel records, ensure information contained in personnel file is current and comprehensive

Demonstrate a willingness and capability to perform other duties as deemed appropriate and consistent with your professional qualifications, skills and/or experience
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

RPR Designation considered an asset

3+ years of high volume industrial trades recruitment experience

Exposure to high volume and fast-paced recruitment activities

Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and control own workload

Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality

Well-developed computer skills preferably with ADP Workforce Now, MS Office, and Sharepoint
