Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled RV Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for technical problem solving and a passion for working with recreational vehicles. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various systems within RVs to ensure they operate safely and efficiently, as well as custom projects.
The RV Technician will work closely with team members to complete tasks and provide high-quality service. We work on all classes of RVs, from vintage to cutting edge units specializing in small motorhomes, trailers & vans. With a shop environment built on respect, growth, great staff, and incredible clientele, we seek to have fun, learn and have a positive work life balance!
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot functional issues in RVs, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.. Gas Certification is a bonus!
- Perform repairs and maintenance on RV components using hand & power tools
- Conduct thorough inspections of RVs to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding repairs needed and provide recommendations for maintenance or upgrades
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Stay updated on the latest RV technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge with experience in RV repair.. (Automotive is a bonus!)
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a productive environment
- A valid driver's license may be required for test driving vehicles or transporting them as needed
