Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Customer Service professional to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, effective communication, and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and concerns professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety protocols is advantageous
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
