Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV cameras to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Perform routine patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or misconduct and reporting findings appropriately.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently to uphold a secure environment for all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
- Minimum BST ( Basic Security Training) Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
- Ability to perform physical patrols and stand for extended periods while maintaining alertness.
- Excellent observation skills with keen attention to detail in identifying suspicious behavior or security risks.
- Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Certification in security or related fields preferred; willingness to obtain necessary licenses as per local regulations.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and basic emergency response procedures.
