About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Contract Lawyer to join our growing practice on a flexible, independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for lawyers who value autonomy, entrepreneurial practice development, and the ability to directly benefit from the work they generate and manage.
Both experienced practitioners and new licensees are welcome and encouraged to apply.
You will have the freedom to build and manage your own files while benefiting from the infrastructure, support, and reputation of an established practice.

(Experience in one or more areas is an asset, but not required if you have strong transferable skills.)
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage client matters from intake through resolution
- Provide legal advice, drafting, negotiation, and advocacy as required
- Maintain strong client communication and relationships
- Work collaboratively with the firm on complex matters when needed
- Meet professional obligations under Law Society of Ontario standards
- Opportunity to develop and grow your own client base
Fee Split / Compensation Structure
- Competitive revenue-sharing (fee split) arrangement
- Percentage-based compensation tied directly to files handled and revenue generated
- Transparent billing and reporting structure
- Flexible arrangements depending on experience and client origination

What We’re Looking For
- Licensed member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ability to independently manage files (or willingness to develop this skill)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with performance-based compensation
- New licensees are welcome to apply
- Prior private practice experience is an asset but not required
