Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable commercial cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and a strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness. Duties Include:
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces and removing garbage in commercial settings
- Maintain restrooms and common areas to ensure they are sanitary and presentable
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines at all times
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly within scheduled timeframes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment for optimal efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but not required
- WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset
Pay: $17.00 per hour
