Gall Legge Grant Zwack LLP is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our firm in our litigation group. The position requires 1 to 5 years’ experience. The successful candidate will work closely with a professional team of lawyers and will be responsible for a wide array of legal administrative tasks. Mandarin and/or Cantonese are an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of files including but not limited to:
· Providing clear, concise and complete oral and written information
· Drafting correspondence and legal documents
· Time entry and client billings
· Maintaining all administrative functions, including file opening/closing procedures, maintaining the calendar, booking appointments and managing bring forwards
· Performing complex editing and formatting of documents for various correspondence, reports, forms and spreadsheets
· Assist lawyers in performing all regular administrative tasks
· Perform complex editing and formatting for various correspondence, reports, forms and spreadsheets
· Managing a high volume of paper correspondence
· Performing other related duties as required
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
· 1 – 5 years’ of experience working as a legal administrative assistant
· Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited program
· Superior organizational/document management skills with a strong attention to detail
· Exceptional aptitude for software and systems
· A thorough understanding of litigation law legal procedures. Experience in other areas of law will be a great asset
· Advanced knowledge of database management, particularly NetDocuments
· Computer knowledge including: MS365 Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, iPro/Everlaw/Reveal/Relativity e-discovery, Adobe Professional and PCLaw

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
