Who you are:
You're a passionate and detail-oriented scientist with a strong background in microbiology, immunology, or vaccinology. You thrive in a collaborative research environment and are excited about contributing to innovative antibody-based therapeutics. With your hands-on experience in laboratory techniques like ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and HPLC, you're ready to dive into complex research projects. You have a knack for analyzing data, presenting findings clearly, and meticulously documenting your work. Your curiosity drives you to stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies. You're comfortable working with small animals and have a keen interest in translating research into practical applications. As a team player with excellent communication skills, you're eager to contribute your expertise while continuing to learn and grow in a dynamic scientific setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, execute and analyze innovative immunoglobulin antibody-based therapeutics.
· Assist with research projects in the fields of microbiology, immunology, and vaccinology.
· Perform analytical methods in immunology such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, HPLC, chromatography, cell culture.
· Perform in vivo experiments in small animals.
· Support lab management, including lab equipment documentation, inventory maintenance.
· Records experimental data and writes in depth notebook entries.
· Presents the progress of experiments/research to management and executive team.
· Contribute to scientific literature publications and conferences.
· Organizing, supporting and collaborating with other team members to meet project deliverables and timelines.
· Generate intellectual property and assist in writing patent applications. Perform literature and patent searches to identify new technologies and scientific trends. Identify and execute product and process improvement projects.
· Regular review of results and methods used while working under close supervision.
· Fosters effective and collaborative working relationships with fellow employees and management.
Qualifications:
· MSc in microbiology, immunology and or vaccinology (minimum).
· Minimum 3-years’ research experience in microbiology/ immunology/ vaccinology. Preference given to those candidates working with immunoglobulin antibodies
· Skilled presenter to deliver technical summaries of data with critical-thinking skills to provide in-depth analytical explanations and interpretations.
· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team.
· Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
