The Opportunity:
As a CNC Machinist 3 at Lifting Solutions, you will operate at the highest level of CNC expertise within the organization. You’ll be responsible for independent programming, setting up, and independently programming, setting up, and running all current CNC machines on-site, including advanced rotor peeling and milling equipment. This senior-level role is ideal for an experienced machinist who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident working unsupervised on evening and midnight shifts.
Responsibilities:
In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:

Program, set up, and operate all CNC machines currently in use at LSI, including advanced lathes and milling tools.

Manage tooling and oversee maintenance schedules for lubrications and coolant systems.

Uphold all HSE and Quality standards across operations.

Train and mentor other machinists as needed.

Operate independently on off-shifts to maintain consistent production flow.
Your Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 10 years’ post-apprenticeship or NAIT schooling in CNC machining.

Proven ability to operate all CNC equipment currently used at LSI.

Experience with roto peeling and milling machines (e.g., Weingartner, Leistritz).

Demonstrated success working independently on afternoon and midnight shifts

Strong mechanical background with ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Familiarity with API specs and threading for oilfield tools.
