Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
- Enforce property rules and policies to prevent theft, vandalism, or other misconduct
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct loss prevention activities by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and law enforcement agencies
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed
- Must be reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Ability to pass background checks and any required training or certification processes
