Description of Duties: Responsible for performing treatments and consulting clients on hair care. Building a clientele and developing a level of comfort. Responsible for product usage. Keeping sanitation levels up. Perform the following services: hair cutting, colours, styling. Responsible for clients comfort and helping meet their needs. Accommodate requests whenever possible. Choosing a service or product that meets the client’s needs. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of services and product. Meets and greets clients. Performs treatments. Promoting return customers Treats clients as a VIP Maintains profile on client. Aims for good customer feedback – listening to the customer and acting on feedback. Ensures that Spa area and Hair areas rooms are sanitized and clean. Products are clean and organized. Maintains proper use of equipment and products. Sanitizing and storage of equipment and implements Understands Hotel’s expectations & standards Ensures that all check lists and task lists are completed. Treating a client with respect, making them feel comfortable. Performing a high quality service. Required Qualifications: Have good communication skills, and multi-tasking skill. Works well with a team People Person Able to work flexible schedule involving Saturdays and evenings. Be highly organized. Prepared to perform any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Salon Manager
The job would also involve some receptionist duties, answering phones, booking hotel rooms, laundry, booking restaurant reservations etc.
