Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and ensure a positive shopping experience. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work alone in a fast-paced retail environment. The Budtender will also handle Inventory Counts accurately and maintain stock in the inventory room.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on product effects, usage, and safety guidelines
- Operate Greenline POS systems for cash handling, sales processing, and inventory management
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain clean, organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked
- Manage inventory levels through proper filing and record-keeping
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support store operations with basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word
- Uphold compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions
- Fluency with Adobe Illustrator is a strong plus
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in hospitality or similar customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with Greenline POS systems, Windows based computer operation, and basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel is advantageous for record keeping and reporting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for stock replenishment or inventory management
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory control
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail setting while working alone
- Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, or previous experience as a Budtender is highly desirable

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
