Service Technician/Advisor — Full-Time (Growth Opportunity)
Akal Auto Repair in Calgary is looking for a Full-Time Service Technician/Advisor — a great fit for someone with hands-on automotive experience (suspension work, tire changes, oil changes, and similar) who's looking to grow into a front-end advisor role. Full training provided for the transition.
What you'll bring (back-end experience):
- Comfortable with basic to intermediate technician work — oil changes, tire changes, suspension, inspections, or similar
- Willingness to learn and grow beyond the bay
What you'll grow into (front-end, we'll train you):
- Primary point of contact for customers — phone calls, walk-ins, and appointment bookings
- Managing daily workflow and technician scheduling
- Ordering parts and maintaining shop inventory
- Troubleshooting and resolving customer concerns
- Keeping the appointment calendar organized and current
What we're looking for:
- Hands-on automotive experience, even at a foundational level
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced shop
- Eagerness to develop into a customer-facing advisor role
Salary confirmed based on experience.
Candidate must be Canadian, Permanent Resident, or Authorized to Work in Canada.
