Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, custodial services, or industrial cleaning, along with leadership skills to manage a team effectively. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Train and mentor housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks based on occupancy levels and operational needs
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly to uphold service quality
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all cleaning activities
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping, custodial services, or hospitality management, preferably within hotel or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience managing a team of cleaning staff is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hospitality operations and customer service principles is a plus
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate team members effectively
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
