Key Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, execute, support, and continuously improve a portfolio of experiences, services, programs, events, and operational functions
- Create and/or support experiences that animate the site and support the organization’s vision of bringing the greatest number of people onsite to have the most positive experience possible.
- Lead and support a diverse mix of experiences, services, events, activations, and operational functions appropriate to the assigned portfolio. Lead all aspects of execution, including scheduling, staUing requirements, run-of-show planning, vendor and partner coordination, guest experience, and risk mitigation.
- Manage events ranging from small community activations to large-scale concerts of up to approximately 1,800 attendees.
- Contribute to the development of annual and event-specific plans, budgets, revenue targets, and expense forecasts for the assigned portfolio, recognizing that some programs may be designed primarily to support the local community, attract potential new residents, or increase visitation rather than generate direct profit.
- Use approved discretion in shaping the mix of profitable and strategic programs, provided annual portfolio performance and organizational goals are achieved.
- Report required metrics on performance to drive data driven decisions
- Monitor performance against established budgets and make informed operating decisions to ensure the portfolio is profitable over the course of the year.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Site Operations teams to promote and deliver programs eUectively and eUiciently.
- Coordinate with Site Operations to ensure venues are prepared, safe, and presentationready.
- Establish and maintain relationships with artists, presenters, community organizations, instructors, vendors, sponsors, and other external partners.
- Track performance indicators such as attendance, earned revenue, margin, guest feedback, community impact, and repeat visitation, and use insights to improve future programming.
- Ensure all programs comply with organizational policies, applicable regulations, safety requirements, and event-specific operational standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of progressive experience in programming, event management, venue operations, arts and culture, tourism, community programming, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing public-facing events and programs, ideally across multiple audience types and formats.
- Experience interpreting contracts, managing budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses, and being accountable for financial results.
- Ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience working within entertainment venues, cultural attractions, museums, heritage sites, or destination-based organizations is considered a strong asset.
- Post-secondary education in arts administration, event management, hospitality, business, marketing, recreation, cultural management, or a related discipline is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
