Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Foundation Form Worker/ Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing . This position requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of schematics and mechanical knowledge. The Concrete Form Worker/ Finisher will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on various concrete projects.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure durability and longevity of finished products.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and equipment on-site.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to concrete work.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Drivers license is an asset - but not required
