Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer(On Contract) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC technology, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using CAD software(Catia V5 & Vericut).
- Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts.
- Utilize hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Apply basic math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately program machines.
- Use Mazatrol programming language for specific machining tasks when required.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines.
- Familiarity with CAD software(Catia V5 & Vericut) for designing parts and components.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
