Reports To: Director, Drug, Product and Provider Management
Reporting to the Director, Drug, Product and Provider Management, the incumbent is responsible for leading critical projects that will contribute to the development of new products and services, project studies and product maintenance.
As the ideal candidate, you will enjoy project management and working in a creative, yet fast-paced, environment. Successful delivery of major programs and projects is critical to this role. Success is defined as using the project management methodology to deliver agreed upon benefits within the constraints of budget; schedule; quality; governance and business objectives; and client satisfaction.
Manage select new product development and lifecycle management projects to successful conclusion to support the growth of our business
Recommend and implement ways to improve the processes and tools used for program and project management, supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams and department
Monitoring projects - their results and reporting on measurements/key outputs
Collaborate with Customer Systems on our IT initiatives;
Work with operations to roll out key strategic initiatives.
Support the department strategic planning process
Education: Post-secondary education in business and/or education in project management methodologies
Work Experience: Minimum five plus years’ experience leading projects and applying project methodology
Problem solving and strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Self-starter; willing to work independently and as a member of a team
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of tools used in Project Management (ie. Microsoft Project, Office, Visio)
Language Skills: Bilingualism would be considered an asset
