Data Entry Clerk

Be part of a historical software implementation in one of BC’s largest and most dynamic hospital settings in order to improve patient care within the Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) project.

What you’ll do

Using patient charts, transfer patient information onto clinical data forms for entry into computerized systems.
Using the program database and, as required, generates utilization reports for statistical purposes
Obtains and returns patient charts from Health Records Department by completing requisitions and collecting the charts
Maintains patient files and records by sorting, filing and purging files
What you bring

Grade 12 education, training in data entry and 1 year’s experience in a similar role
Able to type 45 wpm with a high level of accuracy
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a complex, dynamic project environment.
