Purpose of Position:
Coach Canada is looking for an energetic, safety-driven, and responsible driver to join our team. The Coach Canada driver will report directly to the District Manager and is responsible for the physical possession of controlling and safely navigating a motorcoach as assigned by the Manager of Operations or Dispatcher. The driver is responsible for the care of passengers, including their safety, security, and assisting them on and off the motorcoach.
Your Role

Partake in three-week paid training (Monday – Friday)

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle

You are responsible for safely transporting our customers to and from their scheduled pickup and drop off locations.

Ensure customers safety while boarding and exiting buses

Collecting money from fare-paying passengers, accounting for all passenger tickets and collections (if applicable).

Transporting and discharging of all scheduled and chartered trips

Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
Your Profile

You are safety focused
-
You are legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e. a Canadian Citizen, landed immigrant or valid work permit)

You have a valid passport that enables you to freely cross the US border.

You hold a valid and unrestricted B Class Commercial Drivers License

You have an air brake endorsement

You will pass your pre-employment drug test, vulnerable sector search and provide outstanding references from previous employers

You possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills

You thrive in working as a team and working independently

You have previous experience operating Coach buses and/or similar CDL Vehicles
-
Reliable and accountable for participating in our annual and ongoing training requirements.

You will pass the DOT Physical Qualifications

You are 21 years of age or older
