About the Role
We're a growing, family-owned landscaping company serving Fergus, Elora, and Centre Wellington. We're looking for strong, reliable people who aren't afraid of hard work and want to learn.
No landscaping experience? That's okay. We can teach the skills. We can't teach work ethic.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-up
- Garden bed care: weeding, mulching, planting, and general upkeep
- Property clean-ups and debris removal
- Assisting with planting trees, shrubs, and seasonal flowers
- Operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely
- Supporting landscape projects (garden installs, pathways, minor hardscaping)
- Maintaining clean, organized job sites
- Working as part of a crew to complete daily routes and projects efficiently
Physical Requirements (Important)
This role is physically demanding and best suited for individuals who are comfortable with outdoor labour. You must be able to:
- Lift and carry 40+ lbs regularly (soil, mulch, equipment, etc.)
- Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, raking, and shoveling
- Stand and walk for extended periods (8–10 hour workdays)
- Work in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Maintain a consistent work pace throughout the day

- Reliable transportation to and from our shop in the Centre Wellington area
- Ability to start early mornings
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Punctual and dependable — our team relies on each other
- Previous landscaping or outdoor labour experience is an asset, but not required

Location
Work is based in Fergus, Elora, and surrounding Centre Wellington communities, with most sites a short drive from our shop.
