Monday - Friday regular daytime work, 35 - 44 hours per week, paid weekly by direct deposit. Bonus for working after hours / weekends (optional).
Job sites range from Kanata - Manotick - Orleans. Projects include kitchens, basements, bathrooms, decks, fences, additions.
Work includes:
- Performing renovations and determining work flow
- Supervising and directing other workers
- Supervising subcontractors
- Maintaining job site cleanliness and safety
- Transporting and maintaining company owned tools
- Generating materials list and purchasing jobsite materials on company accounts
- Interacting with clients
Qualifications
Required
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license
- Steel toed boots
- Own basic hand and power tools
- Minimum 5 years in construction required, general construction / renovations preferred
- Minimim 2 years supervision experience required, construction preferred
- Experience directing work flow and jobsite management
- Be able to lift minimum 50 lb / 23 kg
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Experience reading building plans
- Smartphone
Advantageous
- Clean police records check, clean driving abstract
- Valid working at Heights, WHMIS, first aid certificates
- Elevated Work Platform certificate and experience
