Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bilingual (French) Phlebotomist to join our team in Cornwall, ON. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care through accurate blood collection and laboratory support, contributing significantly to our mission of excellence in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and other specimen collections with precision and care.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in training new staff on phlebotomy techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in phlebotomy practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or similar role in a hospital or laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification in phlebotomy is preferred.
- Minimum1 year of laboratory experience performing phlebotomy.
- Fluent in French (mandatory).
