Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with our mission of providing high-quality food and service.
Responsibilities
Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
- Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Manage cash handling and processing transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Provide excellent customer service to foster repeat business
Qualifications
Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Micros POS
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in upselling is a plus
