West Coast Kia is looking for an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete assigned maintenance, service, and repair work accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all repairs meet dealership quality standards and pass required inspections and/or road tests.
- Road test vehicles, when required, to confirm repairs have been completed properly.
- Maintain a sufficient set of personally owned tools in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
- Properly care for dealership tools and equipment and assist with preventative maintenance as required.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures, working standards, and requirements, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Produce accurate, complete, and clearly written repair documentation.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other team members regarding vehicle repairs and service requirements.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communication, teamwork, and participation.
- Take pride in workmanship and demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Continue developing technical knowledge and skills through hands-on experience and available training opportunities.

- Valid driver's licence.
- Own basic automotive technician tools.
