Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced individual to fill the role of Roll Off DZ or AZ Driver. This position is essential for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport and dispose of waste or materials efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, be capable of heavy lifting, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and reliability. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks with DZ or AZ license classifications to pick up and deliver containers to designated locations.
- Load and unload waste or materials, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues on the road.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating commercial vehicles.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Requirements
- Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in driving commercial trucks, preferably roll-off or similar vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
