Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are cooked properly and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests in the dining area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen equipment usage
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service best practices
- Experience with serving guests and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is preferred
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
