Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to work cooperatively within our team. Drivers will be required to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Job Duties
- drive van, 24ft to 26ft straight truck
- load and pack trucks safely
- ensure all items are accounted for
- deliver goods to our retail stores and customers
- operate forklift
- deliver goods in an accurate, safe and timely manner
- fill out and maintain the driver logs
Requirements
- Valid G license (Z license an asset)
- Responsible, clean driving record
- Must be patient, friendly and reliable
- Must be able to do heavy lifting
- Must be able to drive long distances
- Able to work quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Ability to be flexible towards working longer shifts during heavier production when required
- Must have a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and communication skills
- Work well independently
- Ability to follow standard safety procedures and work in a safe and clean manner
- Have experience driving straight/box trucks
