We pride ourselves on production excellence and a dedicated team environment. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team.
Job Summary
As a Production Worker for the Folder/Gluer, you will handle the final stage of our packaging line. You will catch, inspect, and neatly pack finished custom folding cartons and boxes coming off high-speed machinery before they ship to our clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Catch Products: Grab finished boxes and cartons coming off high-speed conveyor lines cleanly and efficiently.
- Inspect Quality: Keep a sharp eye out for defects, including improper glue lines, alignment errors, scratches, or printing flaws.
- Pack & Count: Neatly stack and pack a precise number of completed pieces into corrugated shipping cases.
- Label Cases: Apply correct product labels, tracking stickers, and weight tags to finished boxes.
- Feed Line: Assist the machine operator by loading flat cardboard blanks into the machine hopper during peak runs.
- Maintain Safety: Keep your station clean, sweep paper waste, and follow all facility safety protocols.
Key Knowledge and Skills
- High Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual speed to keep pace with fast manufacturing equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic Math: Fast and accurate counting skills to verify carton bundle quantities.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and consistent daily attendance.
- Previous experience on an assembly line, packaging facility, or printing plant is preferred but not required.
- Experience with folding-carton machinery or similar manufacturing workflows is a major asset.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
