Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Operator - Class 5 to join our team. This role involves safely operating tow trucks to assist with vehicle recoveries, roadside assistance, and transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience with commercial driving. Responsibilities
- Operate Class 5 tow trucks and related equipment to recover, transport, and assist vehicles in various situations
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and ensuring their needs are met professionally
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal operation
- Follow safety protocols and traffic regulations during all operations to ensure safety for self and others
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including documentation of services provided
- Assist with vehicle loading, securing, and unloading as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally
- Prior experience in towing operations is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Pay: $3,167.00-$6,000.00 per month
