Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Operate forklift as needed to facilitate the movement of carpet & flooring within the warehouse.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Having jobs ready for flooring installers each morning, Cutting carpet. Flooring deliveries to job sites.
- Ability to work every other Saturday with 1 day off during the week. we are closed on Sundays.
- Some customer relations & sales may be involved.
- On-site measure & installation of window coverings.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience operating forklifts, or other material handling equipment is necessary.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.
- Previous experience with order fulfillment processes is a plus.
