Job Functions and Responsibilities
A General Labourer is responsible to assist with material handling, moving assemblies, set up, take down and packaging of air-beam shelters and other tasks as assigned.
Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd. employees must adhere to company policies and procedures with regard for safety, quality and lean processes.
The General Labourer is responsible to perform all duties and assigned tasks in accordance with Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd.’s policies, procedures and work instructions.
Specific tasks could include but are not limited to:
- Assist with set up/take down of an air-beam shelter(s); prepare installation sites prior to and after set up/take down
- Assist with movement of building components around production floor
- Clean shelters and pack them for shipping
- Load and unload materials
- Handle solvents and other hazardous material in accordance with WHMIS regulations
- Complete required documents accurately (timesheets, tracking sheets, etc.)
- Operate hand and/or power tools – stake driver, grommet punch, leaf blower, power drill, etc.
- Report damage to tools, machinery and other equipment to supervisor
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- Moderately fluent in English Language (verbal and written)
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow safety rules
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- On the job training provided

- Monday to Friday schedule.
