About the Role
Prozus is seeking a Calgary-based Multidisciplinary Technical Coordinator & Key Account Manager to serve as the single accountable owner for technical delivery, client satisfaction, and account growth with one of our key pipeline clients.
This is a multidisciplinary role for an experienced technical specialist who will be embedded within the client's organization, systems, and day-to-day operations. In this role, you will be the main focal point and communication hub between Prozus, the client, and the workshare team.
The role will be required to review and apply redline markups across civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings while managing client relationships and coordinating closely with our offshore workshare team.
As a key Prozus employee and company representative, this role will operate within the client's organization to:
- i. Identify changes in scope, priorities, or new business opportunities
- ii. Maintain regular reporting duties to Prozus internally
- iii. Lead the technical execution of the as-building project requirements
- iv. Work closely with the client while nurturing, developing and growing the Prozus-client relationship as the key account lead
While this position is responsible for managing the key account relationship and coordinating the execution of the project needs, it is neither a pure drafting nor a pure management role. You will:
- work hands-on in AutoCAD across multiple disciplines
- review work from team members including deliverables produced by the Prozus workshare group
- resolve workshare-generated RFIs (Requests For Information) directly with the client
- flag items requiring formal engineering input
Engineering design and professional sign-offs remain with the client's engineering partners. Your focus is to maintain accurate, traceable execution, technical oversight, and solid, consistent delivery of client projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Account & Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client's project and Drawing Control (DC) teams. Build trust, maintain client satisfaction, and identify opportunities to expand Prozus's scope through regular reporting internally.
● Technical Execution & As-Building:
Review and apply redline markups across civil, mechanical, and electrical construction drawings (AutoCAD.DWG), tracing each change to its source package and across referenced/downstream sheets.
● Technical Oversight & Escalation:
Distinguish content markups from administrative changes. Identify markups with potential downstream engineering impact (e.g., interlocks, capacity, piping clashes, hazardous areas) and propose practical resolutions to client engineering teams.
● Workshare Leadership & Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC):
Translate client requirements into clear instructions for our workshare team, review their output for accuracy against client expectations, and execute QA/QC reviews per Prozus's Gate 1/Gate 2 pre-delivery workflows.
● Process Improvement & Records:

● Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in AutoCAD and experience working with master markup packages, revision controls, and complex drawing sets.

Preferred Qualifications
● Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation or related technical background.
● Prior client-facing experience with major midstream/pipeline operators in an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) environment.
● Proven track record of proposing constructive technical solutions rather than solely flagging issues. Work Arrangement, Compensation & Benefits
