Kerrisdale Optical is a high-end boutique style eyeglasses store based in Vancouver B.C.. We aim to provide our valued customers an extensive selection of luxury brands for eye wear, excellent service, and a warm and inviting shopping environment.
We are currently looking for a full time/part time optician to join our team.
As an optician, you will be responsible of:
- Pretesting patients
- Assisting patients with frame selection
- Dispensing contact lenses
- Becoming knowledgeable on all products offered
- Frame adjustments and repairs
- Performing a variety of operational duties
Qualifications:
- Licensed optician in BC
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, previous working experience in the eye wear industry or as an optician is a bonus but not necessary
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- Able to demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
- Multilingual is an asset (Mandarin/Cantonese)
Note: We will provide further training for the qualified candidates
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
