We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) who is confident, personable, and passionate about providing an excellent patient experience.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced RPN who is also a confident injector to join our Burlington team.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with injections and blood draws, is comfortable working directly with patients, and can work independently while remaining within their professional scope of practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN or RPN looking for a clinic-based position with no hospital shifts, overnight shifts, or high-volume environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide patient care within your nursing scope of practice
- Perform blood draws/phlebotomy and assist with specimen collection
- Administer injections safely and confidently as directed by the appropriate prescriber
- Perform routine clinical procedures within your scope and training
- Take and document vital signs and other relevant patient information
- Prepare patients for appointments and treatments
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed
- Assist with patient follow-up and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all infection prevention, safety, and clinic protocols
- Communicate and collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner and clinical team
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and positive patient experience
What You Bring
- Active RPN registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Blood-draw/phlebotomy experience – required
- Strong injection/injector experience – required
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently within your scope of practice
- Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in men’s health, hormone therapy, wellness, aesthetics, or a similar clinical environment is an asset, but not required
