Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Catering Kitchen Staff to join our team. This role involves supporting the preparation and serving of food for various catering events, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent teamwork skills, and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The right candidates may support a mix of catering events, in-house food services, online food orders, prep production, event packing, and general kitchen operations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing food for weddings, corporate events, private events, and drop-off catering
- Supporting online food service orders and in-house production
- Assisting with prep lists, packing lists, and event organization
- Cooking, plating, or supporting buffet and catering service as needed
- Washing dishes, cleaning, and maintaining an organized kitchen
- Following food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Helping with loading, unloading, and event setup when required
- Working as part of a team in a fast-paced catering environment
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required and must be comfortable driving a catering van for event deliveries and catering logistics.
- Previous kitchen, catering, restaurant, or food service experience is an asset
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
- Ability to lift, carry, stand for long periods, and work in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
Compensation:
Hourly rate will be based on experience, position, and skill level.
Start Date:
The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.
