Job description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Technician to join our team.
Duties
- Complete carpet cleaning services (hot water extraction, spotting, stain removal)
- Perform strip and wax services on vinyl, VCT, and other hard floor surfaces
- Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers and extractors
- Select and properly use cleaning chemicals and finishes according to procedures
- Ensure floors are clean, safe, and finished to quality standards
- Inspect floors and report any damage or maintenance issues
- Maintain and clean equipment after use
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
Requirements:
- Experience in strip & wax floor care
- Experience with carpet cleaning (extraction, stain removal)
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and chemicals
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate floor equipment (auto scrubber, buffer, burnisher, extractor)
- Knowledge of floor care chemicals, finishes, and safety procedures
- Physically able to lift equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
