EIGHT & After Eight — named no.2 in the 2026 North America 50 Best, is hiring for an Experienced Bartender. We are seeking an experienced, passionate mixologist to elevate our intimate, story-driven culinary journey with our award winning team.
Position Overview: As a Mixologist at our parlour, you will be the architect behind our bar's allure. You will be responsible for creating an unforgettable experience for our guests through your exceptional cocktails and your ability to weave stories through every drink. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, dedicated, and eager to push the boundaries of mixology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and serve a variety of cocktails with precision and creativity.
- Develop and implement new cocktail recipes and seasonal menus.
- Create unique infusions and syrups to enhance our drink offerings.
- Hand-cut ice to ensure the highest quality and presentation of cocktails.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
- Engage with guests, providing a memorable and personalized experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously strive to innovate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-end bar or speakeasy. Minimun 3 years of bartending experience.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, and cocktail recipes.
- Ability to create unique infusions and work with hand-cut ice.
- Exceptional creativity and a passion for innovation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ambitious, talented, and driven to excel in the art of mixology.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
This position is 4 days a week since Eight is open from Thursdays to Sundays.
